Dear Church Family,

Good news! We are excited to tell you that our Church doors will be open for Sunday morning Worship beginning this Sunday, June 14, at 10:15 am! Of course, there will be some changes to our normal routine for the time being. Here they are:

  1. We are asking that if you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms, PLEASE STAY HOME!
    1. Fever
    2. Coughing
    3. Sneezing
    4. Nausea
    5. Body Aches
    6. Have been in contact with anyone who has any of the above symptoms
    7. Just not feeling well
  2. We are asking, not requiring, that everyone wear a mask while in the building.
  3. We are asking that everyone use hand sanitizer when they enter the building. We will keep hand sanitizer by the entrances, but if you can bring your own, that would be helpful.
  4. We are asking that family groups and singles maintain social distancing.
  5. We are asking that everyone refrain from physical contact with others (hugging, hand shaking, etc.)
  6. There will not be Children’s Church or Nursery. However, we have reserved an area in the Sanctuary with tables and chairs for families with children to sit at, if they desire it. Families are always welcome to sit in the regular aisles. Please be patient with our children as they experience worship in this new way.
  7. We ask that everyone remain on the upper level of the church for now.
  8. Both entrances will be available to enter and exit the church. However, both of those entrances will be locked after the service begins. A member of our Security Team will be at those entrances to admit any latecomers.
  9. We will not be passing the Offering Plates. Instead, we ask that you place your tithes and offerings in one of the marked boxes at either entrance or in the marked container on one of the tables.
  10. We will not be distributing handouts of any kind. (That means no worship folder and no activity pages for kids. Be sure to read the Here’s What’s Happening email for all the church news.)
  11. We will not be serving any food or drinks. That means that He-Brews will not be open.
  12. As soon as the service is over, people will be dismissed by rows or tables. We ask that you exit the building immediately.

Please know that we only have your best interests in mind by asking you to comply with the above items. If they create a problem for you, we encourage you to continue to join us online at our Facebook page until you feel comfortable returning to the building. As soon as things get back to normal, whatever that might be, we will also go back to how we do “Church”.

It is the Church Board’s plan to have all of our normal activities (Sunday School, Wednesday Night Activities, Men’s, Women’s and Prime Timers Ministries) available by Sunday, July 19. That day is also our Church’s 29th Anniversary. Our Board of Stewards will be planning a celebration for that day and will have those details available soon.

As always, if you have any questions or need more information, please contact the Church Office or any Church Board member.

In His Service,

Your Church Board
